MINI PRINTS 2016

The 1st East Anglia Mini Print Exhibition ...

An estimated 2000+ people visited The 1st East Anglia Mini Print Exhibition at The Garage Gallery in Aldeburgh, Suffolk from 23- 28 September 2016, showcasing 300+ mini works of art by more than 100 printmakers from East Anglia...

In what will become an annual event, the 1st East Anglia Mini Print Exhibition included artworks from artists from the eastern counties as well as printmakers from right across the UK; showcasing the enormous range, varied style and multiple techniques of original printmaking.

Printmakers, collectors, committed browsers and curious newcomers packed the gallery each day and consequently the 2nd East Anglia Mini Print exhibition will be touring the region visiting galleries in Aldeburgh, Norwich, Cambridge and Halesworth.

Making an excellent resource for pre-GCSE, GCSE and A level students, Red Dot Art were delighted to welcome organised visits by schools of Bury, Framlingham and Southwold  to the exhibition.

School Projects

With so many printmaking techniques to see close-up and over 400 images, The East Anglia Mini Print Exhibition provides an exceptional resource and inspiration for student artists.

The 2016 Exhibition attracted visits from schools from Framlingham, Bury St. Edmunds and Southwold; the pupils all engaging with the collection as a whole as well as individual pieces.

The big-screen broadcast of the exhibition allows all of the images to be studied in great detail and also enables larger groups to split into two smaller ones.

For a small donation (agreed in advance) printed colour catalogues and /or DVDs of all the works can made available to take away for reference back in the classroom/art room.
